This species of plant grows in the Rainshadow Desert of Pangaea II in 200 million AD. It either has a very thick, tapering "trunk" or stem, or else grows on top of thin mounds of earth. It does not appear to be commonly fed on by desert hoppers.
This plant is never specifically mentioned or pointed out, but since it is a practical model and not simply a desert plant which happened to be in the filming area, it must have been designed as a future organism.
The official introductory video for 200 million AD includes an unused shot of CG rainshadow plants in what appears to be the Central Desert.
